Amie Valpone tells us the incredible story of her journey from corporate America and illness, to entrepreneurism and wellness.

Today we are talking with Amie Valpone, an author and health advocate from New York City. Amie hosts all of her ideas on thehealthyapple.com and is the best-selling author of Eating Clean: The 21 Day Plan to Detox, Fight Inflammation, and Reset Your Body. Amie had a health crisis in her own life, and when conventional medicine was not able to find solutions for her, she went looking for something different. She was on a quest, and eventually she became an evangelist. Amie talks about being outside of her body; living a corporate lifestyle where she pushed and pushed, and then finally understanding what it meant to feel what was inside of her and truly re-discovering health. Amie is a beautiful example of taking what is handed to you and turning it into something absolutely incredible. This interview was enlightening for me, and I hope it will be for you as well.
